Marina: Day 14 & 15

This is part of my “Community Sims” series where readers of this blog help create the Sims I use. Check out the rest of the posts here.  And please, feel free to vote in the most current poll to help me design the next community sim (#3)!

So far, you have decided that Marina should pursue the maximum level of gardening achievement and become friends with Travis and Summer. You had her wait on a relationship with Travis. She is allowed to pursue three of her own whims per day, regardless as to whether or not that match our goals for her. She spends time cooking one decent meal a day, but the rest she just grabs something quick like yogurt or cereal.  She is currently saving up to purchase a computer. You recently decided she should give it a try with Travis.

Today was just another average day.

I went to make breakfast when I realized both the fridge and oven were broken. Sigh. I don’t have the time or skill to repair them (and I certainly don’t want to try that alone) so I paid to replace both of them. Good thing I had money saved up for that computer.

My table was too messy, so I ate at my future computer desk. I then went to work.

My job performance was quite excellent today. I think I am going to get a promotion soon. Another blogger accused me of plagiarism. I chose to ignore them- “don’t feed the trolls” sort of thing and that seemed to work out well.

When I got home, I took care of all my plants.

And then jumped in the pool for a quick swim before bed.

Day 15

Hey! I have today off! That was totally unexpected.

After showering and getting dressed, I cleaned up the house a bit.

Then I tried making my first “gourmet” recipe- a fruit and yogurt parfait. Delicious!

I did some gardening for a while.

But my plants were still pretty good from yesterday, and I was feeling sad and lonely. I called the sadness hotline, they always cheer me up.

In the late afternoon, Summer came over. I almost didn’t recognize her. She transitioned from adult to elder! I didn’t realize she was in the adult stage! I swear she was younger. Maybe I am aging slower than everyone else?! This means Travis is older now too. I better start spending more time with them. Maybe I work too much. I think this has made my loneliness even worse.
